In January of 2018, my 35 year old brother Eddie was diagnosed with cancer, specifically soft tissue Sarcoma. The Sarcoma created a massive tumor in his stomach that wrapped itself around some major arteries and organs making treatment extra challenging. The wonderful team of Doctors developed a plan that involved chemotherapy, then radiation with the hope that the tumor would shrink enough to be successfully removed with surgery. The chemotherapy was not as successful as we hoped, but he has moved into the radiation stage and we are still hopeful for surgery- tentative date September 10th.

Since his diagnosis, Eddie has been unable to work due to almost daily appointments and just overall feeling ill. He has had the amazing support of his girlfriend, Kim, who has also taken a lot of time off work to make sure that Eddie gets to his appointments and that all his needs are met at home.

We have started this fund as a way to help alleviate some of the financial burden for both Eddie and Kim. Right now, the focus needs to be on Eddie getting well and he shouldn't have to worry about anything else. Any help you can give to support Eddie would be tremendously appreciated!

I want to note that Eddie was very resistant to us starting this account, as he does not want to appear "greedy". This account was set up by his siblings who basically forced him to agree, because that's what we do :)
