TEAM EDDIE - Eddie's Fight Against Cancer

Eddie married the love of his life Jill on July 12, 2014 and together they are raising three beautiful children. Eddie is a proud and devoted husband, father, and son. He is also a well respected member of his community, a man loved by all that know him, recognized for his big heart, contagious laugh and his willingness to help others. He has donated his time and energy in local fundraising and charitable groups, touching many lives along the way.  Some of these events were done with his parents Cindy and Ed through the KoKoMo Club in Ogden and also through Applebee’s, where Eddie has worked for 24 years.

In February of 2020 Eddie was diagnosed with Advanced Mediastinal Adenopathy and Esophageal “Stage 4” cancer. Eddie has been fighting his cancer by way of chemotherapy and radiation treatments at McKay Hospital Utah Hematology & Oncology Clinic. He has faced many challenges along the way but will never give up on hope and recovery. Eddie and his family are looking into further treatment options at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City. This is not Eddie’s first fight with cancer. Back in 2013 he proved his determination and strength when he won the battle with Testicular Cancer.

We invite you to help ease the financial burden during Eddie’s treatment and medical leave. With all the care that Eddie and his children need at this time, his wife has also had to take a leave from her career. Anything donated will help with all the financial strains they have with medical and living expenses. Together we can give back to Eddie showing him our appreciation, love and support during the biggest fight for his life.
