As many may know, my dad went in for a heart procedure on Oct 1 and since the surgery he has had constant post op complications and even had covid while trying to recover- he went into multi system organ failure after the procedure and has since improved some but not much. He ended up having to get a trache after being on a ventilator for 3 wks and he still has the trache with 28% oxygen helping him breath,  he’s facing total renal failure, and he’s bed ridden due to everything he’s went through. He remained in Icu until November and is still hospitalized at select speciality hospital in Bristol. Our worst nightmare has become a reality. His disability runs out in March and will probably end up on long term disability. Our family and friends have prayed constantly for a miracle and we’re holding onto that, but my dad still has a very very long road ahead of him. With this fundraiser I’m hoping to help lift some of the load off my mother, who is still trying to work. Due to the constant rise in covid we have not been able to visit my dad since November which has been super hard on not only his emotions but ours as well. Many people that know my dad, know what a wonderful person he is; he’s the most amazing, Godly father and grandfather. This has completely devastated my whole family.
