Eddie "Turbo" Solis Celebration of Life Fundraiser
On January 5th, 2020, Eddie "Turbo" Solis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, friends , and loved ones. He was a loving dad and "PopPop" who brought so much joy to his children and grandchildren. He was a dedicated family man who was a role model to many nieces, nephews, and friends who knew him as "Uncle Ed." And he was a best friend to many, he shared many adventures and jokes with their buddy "Turbo."
Eddie loved many things, but he especially loved his family. He and his daughter shared their love of family outings with each other to the beach, Costco, and even Starbucks. And his grandsons who called him "PopPop" brought so much joy to his life. He and his son spent many hours watching movies and TV shows, cooking together, and cruising around town enjoying classic rock music.
He was a true family man who was endlessly proud of his children and would happily spend all of his time making memories with them. His goal was to be a loving father, a good brother, and role model to his family.
He was driven to spread joy in as many lives as possible. He radiated kindness, humor, and positivity. He created countless memories with his friends and family at enjoying concerts, golfing on Saturdays, and taking pride in his cars. He was a loving uncle to many. He was a die-hard Oakland Raiders and Oakland Athletics fan known for his tri-tip at tailgates. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh.
Eddie loved bringing people together for BBQ's, family celebrations, Raider games, and friendly gatherings. Therefore, his children, family, friends, and loved ones would like to gather in his honor to celebrate all the joy he brought into our worlds. Funds raised will be used to pay for Celebration of Life expenses including venue and food.
Eddie is remembered as a dear friend to many. He was the type of person to be there for you when you needed anything - a laugh, a listening ear, or a warm smile. He took joy in the happiness of others and Eddie's life shows us that we can all be there for others. In Eddie's honor, be kind to all you meet and spread joy to all those who mean a lot to you.
