Eddie Hixson is a great guy with a kind and loving heart. For his whole life he’s worked hard to provide for his family.

He recycles scrap wood into dyed mulch and spends his spare time helping others.

He is diagnosed with advanced colon cancer and he’s stuck without health insurance. He has to pay upfront before seeing a doctor or treatments; unfortunately, he makes too much for government insurance and not enough to afford private insurance.

He’s is missing work because of the cancer. We try every day to get him help with health insurance for people with low income and resources, however, it’s a huge circle of red tape...but we are still working. Insurance restrictions say he doesn’t matter but he matters greatly to his family and friends.

We are humbly asking for donations to help pay medical bills. Any contributions to help  will be greatly appreciated.
