Eddie Fowler - Lost Everything In A Flood

Hi, my name is Benjamin. Most of you know, but for those that don't, Eddie is my brother. Eddie and his family were devastated by the historic flash flooding that took place in Eastern Kentucky on July 28th.

To add to the chaos, July 28th is Eddie's birthday. He woke up on his 33rd birthday to waist high water in his home. The area he lives in was ground zero for unspeakable loss.

The water levels reached 5 feet inside his home. The loss was total and complete. Both vehicles were washed away, and every single thing they own was destroyed. By the grace of God, he was able to make an escape through swift waters in the wee hours of the morning, saving his family in the process.

It's hard to conceive the impact this has had on Eddie and his young family. They are hungry. They are dirty. They have the clothes on their back and little else.

They rented their home and were without renter's insurance. Unfortunately, there will be no remediation for their losses.

Eddie is a tough guy who, as many of you know, has weathered many storms and overcome many obstacles. This will represent his most difficult challenge yet.
