Let's support the Eddington family during their loss Shelly and Eddie Eddington are life-long residents of Highlands County and have been married for more than 29 years. On August 13th,2023, Shelly and Eddie suffered damage to their home due to a fire that originated in the attic caused by a lightning strike. Nearly a month later tragedy would strike this loving family again, this time in a more significant manner unimaginable. In the early hours of Monday September 11th, Eddie suffered a brain aneurysm and sadly passed away that evening. With the days ahead, Shelly will be facing the continuing task of home repairs, in addition to arrangements for her beloved fishing partner. These times will be tough; therefore, Shelly and the family need our love and support in every way possible.
