Eddie and Lena's fund

Hi, my name is Mike. I am starting this gofund me for my mom. Right now my stepdad has Stage 4 stomach cancer. Back in November his oncologist informed us that the big tumor decipated and he only had a few lesions that could be controlled with treatment. Two months ago he was getting terrible pain in his abdomen and he wasn't able to work through his extreme discomfort. We thought it was a reaction from his b12 injection. He was in and out of the hospital daily and two weeks ago they ran a scan and seen that the cancer was in fact in his spine, pancreas, and liver and pushing into his lungs. We didn't want to believe it cause we were under the impression that he was pretty much cancer free. We were holding out hope until his oncologist looked over the scans. Monday his oncologist gave us rather unfortunate news that the cancer has spread rapidly and that he recommends hospice treatment. My stepdad and all of us were in shock by the news and my stepdad has been trying to do everything he can to leave my mom in the best condition. He unfortunately is in a weakened state and his feet have to be elevated. Anyone that knows my parents know how close we all are and knows how hard Eddie has worked for his whole life but This past year has put a hurting on them and they have fallen in debt and just trying to do everything so my mom doesn't lose everything. My stepdad was the breadwinner so without any income for months and the next months she needs as much help. Please if you are able to do so, please do. This has been so hard on our family and anything can help.
