He will have 6 months of Chemotherapy starting in November in hopes that the cancer on a main artery will recede; he has been in a lot of pain due to the tumor being directly on a nerve.
If all goes well Ed will be a candidate for surgery. Only 20% of Pancreatic patients are candidates for surgery, so Ed and his family feel very positive about his treatments.
Ed has been a longtime member of this community. He is a Sonora High graduate and is a retired correctional officer from Sierra Conservation Center. He is happily married to his wife Caroline, has 5 children, and 5 wonderful grandchildren.
Ed's deep faith in God and positive attitude have kept him in good spirits.
Ed and his family appreciate any level of donation, it is greatly appreciated. We ask that you please share this page with others as well!
Thank you again for your generosity, prayers, and good wishes.
