It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share with you that our father, Mark Fjerstad, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 61 in his home on the morning of New Year's Day (1/1/2021).
Mark always seemed to find peace in the outdoors and being on the water, and in 2011 bought a house on Wixom Lake where he enjoyed boating and fishing. He also loved cooking, woodworking, sports, cars, bird watching, and creating art and sketches.
Most of all, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
The money will be used to purchase a memorial bench (park TBD) so that all have a place to visit him, while sharing his love for nature and the outdoors.
