Ed Hano Fund

Greetings,
On July 19th, 2017 Downey Police Officer Ed Hano and South Gate Police Officer Carlos Corella were both attending their weekly K9 training with their regional training group.  During one of the excersises, Officers Hano and Corella were severely injured when an explosion occured from within the builiding.  Both Ed and Carlos suffered injuries that left them hospitalized. Our friends now face a long and challenging journey to recovery.  Please assist us in donating to help Ed and Carlos' families with any financial help that they will need during this difficult time.  Ed's wife,  Denise will be the benificiary of the donations and all donations will be forwarded from Gofundme to her account of choice. Who we are -This gofundme page was created by the members of the SouthEast LA K9 team that consists of K9 handlers from Bell Gardens PD, Downey PD, Montebello PD, South Gate PD, Whittier PD, and LA County District  Attorneys Office.  

Officer Hano has been a K9 Handler and part of our team for over 3 years with his K9 partner, "Dani".

Our training group intends to provide the funds raised to the Officers and their families to assist with any medical costs.  Thank you for your help!
