I’m raising money for Andy’s Man Club, a men’s mental health charity, in memory of my amazing Uncle Melvyn Jones who we sadly lost in July 2024. Melvyn was the kind of person who would light up a room with his jokes and stories, lend a hand without being asked, and be there for anyone that needed it. He was loved by so many people, and he is so greatly missed❤️

In his memory, I will be tackling the Edale Skyline Challenge, which is a 20 mile hike along across some high ridges, trails and summits in the Peak District. I am by no means an avid hiker, and will most likely have done no preparation besides my usual dog walks by the time this comes around, so this will be a big challenge for me!

Andy’s Man Club is an incredible charity that is supporting men through the power of conversation. Their peer support groups provide men with a safe space to open up and talk, and are having a huge impact on the lives of many fathers, brothers, uncles, sons and friends. We facilitate non professional peer to peer support groups across the UK for any man to attend over 18. We provide a confidential non judgemental space for men to come together to chat about anything that they would like to get off of their chest. We have no waiting list, no referral or signing in process.
