My name is Jessica Hernandez and EDA Hernandez is my mother. In early November this beauty was diagnosed with cancer of the breast called Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma. IDC, is cancer that began growing in a milk duct and has invaded the fibrous or fatty tissue of the breast outside of the duct. Ask you can imagine this news came as a complete shock to us all as we have begun seeking treatment. Unfortunately not all patients respond to chemotherapy as well as others, and in reaction to the chemo EDA developed an infection and blood clots that put her in the hospital a total of seven days. She is now back home and in her bed but the battle for her life is only beginning. We as a family need all the support we can get during these hard times not only for the battles we are currently facing, but for the ones that are still to come. She had only been home for three days and already we are being contacted to talk about payment installments. To think that in only two months there have already been moments where treatments have had to be postponed due to insurances not covering the cost is insane.Stress levels have now hit a new high during a time where the one and only thing we are in need of is peace and tranquillity. My mom was able to take a week off of her chemo treatmeants in order to allow her antibiotics to do their job. Last week was her week off and now this week, come Wednesday, EDA will be back in battle praying that everything goes well and that she doesn’t end up in the hospital again. I don’tknow how else to ask for help other than flat out ASKING YOU ALL FOR HELP. Please if you could find it in your hearts to make any type ofdonation it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for anyone who stopped to read and knowledge this.
