Help Me Secure a Home and Escape Homelessness

My name is Crystal, and I'm reaching out with a heartfelt plea for help during one of the most challenging times of my life. I've been struggling with homelessness for 6 months. I've just been given an incredible opportunity to finally secure a safe, stable home—but I need your help to cross the finish line.

I've been approved to move into a modest house, which would mean an end to the uncertainty and danger of living on the streets, in a shelter, or sleeping in my car. This isn't just about a roof; it's about stability, safety, and the chance to start rebuilding my life.

The Immediate Need

I am so close to signing the lease and getting the keys, but I have two crucial, immediate financial obstacles to overcome:

Water Security Deposit: I need $150 to cover the mandatory security deposit required by the utility company to turn on the water service.

Past Electric Bill: I have an outstanding balance of $120 on a previous electric bill. The utility company requires this to be paid off before they will set up service at the new address. I also need a few items as I lost all my furniture when I had to move.
