hi sweets. my name’s alexa bristol. i’m a musician based in baltimore, md. i came home early wednesday morning to find my apartment broken into & ransacked. someone broke in through my window & went through all of my clothes & belongings & stole two macbooks & an unused iphone. one of the macbooks was the one i used during undergraduate & one of them was for music. needless to say i am traumatized & deeply upset over the loss of such essential equipment to my practice. while i am devastated to lose my thesis work & other important documents from college, i am most heartbroken over losing the mac that i used for producing & releasing my music. i have spent the past few days ensuring my apartment is secured & safe from further intrusion but i am now faced with the task of acquiring a new laptop. unfortunately, i did not have renter’s insurance at the time of the break-in (something that has since changed)... my hope is to raise funds to purchase a brand new computer ((as opposed to the refurbished ones i’ve owned before)) to further keep making my work. any & all donations/shares would be most appreciated. thx in advance xoxo ❦
