Help me to get my Parents out of Gaza
Donation protected
My name is Mahmoud Elkahlout, and I am Palestinian and live in America. I am still waiting to do my interview with immigration to get a permit status for my stay in America. I have been waiting to do the interview for more than 7 years. During that waiting period, I cannot leave the USA; otherwise, I will lose my asylum. Another issue with staying in the USA is that I am holding travel documents that have been expired for 5 years, and there is no way to renew them since I am from Gaza.
My parents (father and mother) decided to go back to our home country, Palestine, in 2010, and from that day on, I never met with my father or mother since I am Palestinian and cannot travel to Palestine. My parents are now over 75 years old, and there is no health care at this time in Gaza.
They attack our family house, and they destroy it. 27 direct-blood family members were killed in that attack. (uncle, aunt, cousins, and many kids), I will keep the picture and talk more about the destruction of our family house.
Both my father and my mother are very sick now, and I want to get them out of Gaza as fast as I can. They are fighting for their lives every day. They are in the north, and it's not safe in that area, and since they are old, they need help moving them to the south. After they bombed our house on November 12, 2023, they moved more than 16 times since there is nothing safe at this time. I have one cousin with them, and he can help them get out after he lost his family to get them out of Gaza. However, as many of you now know, anyone attempting to leave Gaza who does not hold a foreign passport is being asked to pay between $7,000 and $9,000 per person to cross the Egyptian border. The goal is to relocate my parents and my cousin.

Any amount you can give will change their lives—it will save them. If you cannot contribute, I simply ask that you share their story in the hopes that it reaches enough people to save them.
