For Charlies fight against glioblastoma

On February 28th our lives changed forever, out of the blue we got a phone call from Charlie. He was delirious could barely speak and couldn’t figure out where he was in order to drive to the hospital. Everyone was panicking, he  needed to be found and brought to the hospital ASAP. Finally we found him and got him to lordes ER thinking the worst was over.  After going into the ER the doctors there took a catscan and found what looked to be two large masses in his brain. They told us there was a lot of possibilities and they would figure it out. We then got transferred to Wilson because they have a better neurology staff. The updates on his conditions slowly got worse and so did his condition. 2 days after we entered the hospital he was having his FIRST craniotomy. They needed to test the masses to see what they were. We were not expecting worse case scenario by any means. As all 25 of us, friends and family sat in the waiting room for the results that’s when my families life changed. Charlie has Glioblastoma, 4th stage brain cancer. Which is a very aggressive incurable brain cancer.  2 days later he had another craniotomy to get the other tumor. Which was followed by another week and a half in the hospital. He has gotten most of his memory back, and he is talking again which are huge improvements. But he will never be 100% again. He will always be confused, have sight loss, be dizzy, and have mild memory loss. He now has to endure radiation 5 days a week, with chemo everyday to extend his life. Everyone was blindsided. Because he had just lost his job he doesn’t have health insurance for his bills while in the hospital or upcoming treatments, He no longer can work, and he cannot be left by himself. So his fiancé Shelly is also out of work taking care of him. So if you can donate anything at all it will mean so much. They really need it. We want to thank everyone who has helped us so far.
