My sister-in-law, Danielle Newberry, was just diagnosed with intermediate osteosarcoma. If you know Danielle, you know she isn’t the type of person to ask for any sort of help. She is probably out helping someone else right now because that’s just who she is. But, I know her journey going forward is going to be an expensive one. They are a single income family and this diagnosis is going to require her husband to take a lot of time off work for chemo treatments and surgeries. Her faith is so strong and she would never ask for anything from anyone, but I also know this diagnosis is going to change a lot of things and although I can’t change the outcome of her diagnosis I would love to help alleviate the financial pressure that comes along with it.
