Officers responded to a Los Angeles address on Friday night around 2:00a.m. Paramedics found Tyler in their grandma's house with a bullet through his head. Police say evidence at the scene suggests Tyler shot himself through his mouth and the bullet went through his frontal cortex. Tyler is currently in critical condition in the ICU at Harbor UCLA.
Tyler is the oldest son of one our beloved Sunrise Culver City team members, April Guss. This fundraiser is to help April deal with the aftermath of this tragedy, and seek any professional help she may need to cope with everything. April notes that Tyler had this engaging personality. “You couldn’t help but laugh at most of the things that came out of his mouth. Definitely made a lot of us laugh."
