Ed Walsh Foundation Marathon Fundraiser
Donation protected
On March 26th, 10 years ago, our lives were forever changed when 2 of our brothers, Ed Walsh and Michael Kennedy lost their lives battling a 9-alarm fire on Beacon Street in Boston. Ed Walsh was not just a fellow fire fighter, he was a son, brother, husband, father and friend. This year, on Monday April 15th I will be running my 10th Marathon on the 10th anniversary of the Beacon Street fire to support the Ed Walsh Foundation. The Ed Walsh Foundation was created by his wife Kristen as a way to keep his spirit alive by giving back to the community where he lived and worked.
Through funds raised and donated by it's generous supporters, the Ed Walsh Foundation will make donations to families and organizations within the Greater Boston area. The Ed Walsh foundation has been able to make donations to these organizations because of all the support they have received.
