Ed's B-Day Wheels!

Hello friends & family of Ed!
As many of you reading this know, on September 20th, Ed and I got into a car accident. Luckily we were both mostly uninjured, but Ed's car was completely totaled! Now our Ed is a man of simple pleasures and, of the few things that make him truly happy, "Carro" ranked pretty high (I'm not even sure where I rank in comparison, but such is life with Ed).

Ed's birthday is coming up on October 8th, so I propose that instead of the usual gifts and offerings, you make a contribution to this fund to help Ed put a down payment on his next car. Unfortunately, the insurance payment barely covered what was owed on his car and our ‘ritzy’ life in close proximity to the Big Apple doesn’t leave much over for big expenses.
By my estimate, $3,000 should be enough of a down payment to get him some wheels that he would be proud to drive and that is the best present that you could possibly give to Ed!
What, you are not sure?! How about a post-accident picture of me, Ed’s banged up chick; will that soften your stone heart? My sweet man has taken such good care of me! Not only does he carry me up stairs so I can rest my banged-up legs, he buys me ice-cream!
Still no? You heatless b@&%*+d! What if I told you “the kitten gets it*” if you don’t make a donation to Ed’s new wheels!?
Just kidding :) There is no preassure, but any amount at all that you can give will help reach this goal!
Finally, to sweeten the deal:
- All non-anonymous donations will get you a custom thank you note from Ed & Jess.
- All donations over $100 will get you a custom-made sailor bracelet/survival chord by Ed.
- All donations over $250 will earn you a home-cooked meal by Jess (I'm a pretty decent chef).
-All donations over $500 will earn you and a friend a tour of our favorite places in Jersey City & NYC!
