Hi, my name is Sarah  and I am creating this for my friend Ed. He is one of my best friends.

On New Year’s Day 2022 Ed was diagnosed with cancer that has spread throughout his body. He has been in Hartford hospital since , having many biopsies, tests, and we are waiting for his team of doctors /surgeons to come up with treatment options/plan.

While we know that the cancer has spread to several different places, we are hopeful that there will be treatment options.

Ed is 52 years old. A full time single father of his two girls Sammi 19 & Jordan 16. Sammi is a college student & was working FT but has resigned to help take of her dad & help with her little sister.

Jordan is continuing her HS classes online. Both girls don’t want to put their dad at any unnecessary risk with covid, on top of what he is enduring.

 

Ed is an extremely talented stone mason & brick layer. His father taught him the trade as a child & he made a very successful career in it. He’s been self employed as well as working on and off for the local 1 bricklayers union.
Ed loves what he does and takes great pride in his work. It is a physical and tough job, but when you love what you do, it makes it worth it.

Ed Went from working (several tons of stone a day) to a hospital bed & extremely sick within a few weeks. He & his girls NEED our HELP & SUPPORT desperately…

I will update everyone as I meet and talk with his team of doctors & surgeons.
