On Sunday, March 12 my father finally lost a twenty year battle with heart disease. As you can imagine, this is a huge shock to our family. My father left behind not only myself and my brother Jake, but our mother Denice who until this point has been a homemaker. My father was the sole provider for her and their four pets. He unfortunately never enrolled in any type of life insurance because like most of us, he believed he always had more time.
