Support for the Schultz family

As you may likely know by now, on September 20th, Mark and Nicki Schultz received the news that no parent wants to hear: their daughter, Louisa has a tumor in her brain. The good news is that it’s slow growing and it typically responds well to chemo and radiation. Since this devastating news, Mark, Nicki and Louisa have been inundated with gifts, thoughts and prayers. They are beyond grateful and humbled with the overwhelming support.

As the EOBs and bills begin to roll in the answer to everyone’s “what can I do” has become crystal clear. With Nicki now the sole proprietor of her own practice – Elmbrook Chiropractic -- she’s doing her best to shuffle her clients, but time away from her office costs her income that’s not covered by others or PTO. Not to mention all of the unknowns as they begin treatments – how will sweet little Louisa react to and tolerate this concoction of chemicals that will shrink this nasty tumor.

Even with insurance coverage, the financial burden of out of pocket medical costs, loss of income for Nicki and other costs related to Louisa’s care will certainly add up quickly and it’s my honor to arrange this for them. With so much on their minds and hearts I hope we can all pool together lessen some of financial obligations so they can focus on the only thing that’s important in all of this – Louisa’s health and comfort.
