Hi, we are Alyson Howard and Liz Norby, ( a Registered Vet Tech and Veterinarian). We are looking at going to Olon Ecuador to help spay and neuter cats and dogs. Some pets, some street animals to help control the pet population.
There are only 1-2 vet clinics for miles and they desperately need help.
We will be bringing most of the supplies and are going to be staying at local place which is short walk to the vet clinic where we will be working
What does your donation do?
$10 - Feeds our volunteers for the day
$50 - Will supply the suture needed for 2 surgeries
$90 - Will cover the entire cost of surgery for 1 pet
All funds donated go toward supplies needed, airfare, and travel to our destination. We will bring surgical instruments, anesthetic, pain medication and suture materials.
We both have 2 decades of experience in the veterinary field. Spaying and neutering pets in Canada, as well as working directly with our local SPCA's helping them control the local pet population.
Alyson has also helped spay and neuter cats with a local trap/neuter release program - helping with thousands of surgeries.
We want to be able to travel to this remote area to do some good. This area has such little veterinary presence and really needs our help.
We are hoping to travel with a group of 10+ other veterinary professionals and really need your help. Those animals need your help.
