Alors que les médias relatent de façon interrompue et abrupte une actualité sombre, si nous allumions la lumière ?
Je lance une initiative extraordinaire qui va changer la manière dont nous découvrons et partageons des histoires captivantes et sans frontières de femmes et d’hommes engagés à l’international.
Le projet ? La création de Talents, une maison d’édition en ligne dont la vocation est de publier des récits inspirants qui mettront en lumière les parcours exceptionnels de Français de l’étranger engagés dans l'humanitaire, les arts, la culture, la diplomatie, la politique et le monde de l’entreprise. Chaque ouvrage sera un hymne à la détermination entrepreneuriale, à l’engagement, à l’influence, à la créativité et à l'impact positif sur notre monde.
Chaque Français établi hors des frontières de notre pays est un ambassadeur de la France, de par son métier, son talent et son influence.
Aussi, Talents les met en avant via trois collections :
- Success Stories : Invite à explorer le monde dynamique de l'innovation, de l'entreprise et de l’industrie, dévoilant le génie créatif de ces visionnaires français ayant bâti des succès loin de chez eux. Une véritable plongée dans l’univers captivant de ces esprits audacieux, témoignant de la vitalité de l’entrepreneuriat et de la capacité à rayonner au-delà des frontières nationales.
- Politique, Diplomatie & Humanitaire : Dresse le portrait et l’ambition de figures françaises engagées qui exercent leur influence de l'échelle locale à l’échelle internationale. Ces récits transportent au cœur de négociations diplomatiques, de décisions cruciales et de contributions majeures de ces talents français à la scène mondiale tant diplomatique, humanitaire que politique.
- Art & Culture : Invite à découvrir des personnalités culturelles et des artistes français, partageant leur vision, leur passion et leur talent à travers le monde, enrichissant ainsi le patrimoine culturel français et mondial.
Avec votre soutien, je vise à réunir 50,000 dollars pour donner vie à ces histoires remarquables écrites sous forme de reportage journalistique et permettre à tous ceux, assoiffés d'inspiration, de découverte et de récits positifs de découvrir l’engagement d’autres français installés aux quatre coins du monde.

Je suis Rachel Brunet, journaliste, content strategist et auteur française installée à New York depuis 2012. Ayant lancé et développé Le Petit Journal New York et Miami, au service d’un lectorat composé d’expatriés, j’ai eu à cœur d’y raconter, durant quatre ans, des histoires inspirantes de femmes et d’hommes francophones installés aux États-Unis, de les soutenir dans leur action, leur implication et leur entreprise en faisant le récit de leur engagement. J’ai voulu inspirer les lecteurs. J’ai aussi eu à coeur de mettre en avant les femmes en créant des projets éditoriaux comme Le Mois de la Femme ou encore le projet Femmes Leaders.
Mais un article pour raconter un parcours, une ambition, une excellence, une influence a ses limites, tant dans la portée de ce dernier, que dans sa taille ou encore dans sa durée de vie.
Le livre est un objet noble, un objet de culture, de savoir, de partage et d’inspiration. Et c’est bien dans les livres que les histoires inspirantes, positives et influentes d’expatriés ont leur place. Les collections Talents ont pour ambition d’inspirer d’autres entrepreneurs, d’autres artistes, d’autres politiques, diplomates et humanistes, où qu’ils soient dans le monde. Les collections Talents ont aussi pour vocation de dire aux autres Français, « regardez ce que nous accomplissons hors de nos frontières ».
Et pour raconter au monde entier l’histoire, le parcours, les succès de nos talents, les ouvrages Talents seront publiés en français et en anglais, et seront en vente sur Amazon, disponibles dans le monde entier.

While the media continuously reports a dark and abrupt reality, what if we turned on the light?
I am launching an extraordinary initiative that will change the way we discover and share captivating, borderless stories of men and women engaged internationally.
The project? The creation of Talents, an online publishing house aimed at releasing inspiring narratives that will spotlight the exceptional journeys of French expatriates committed to humanitarianism, arts, culture, diplomacy, politics, and the business world. Each publication will be an ode to entrepreneurial determination, commitment, influence, creativity, and a positive impact on our world.
Every French individual established beyond our country's borders acts as an ambassador of France through their profession, talent, and influence.
Therefore, Talents showcases them through three collections:
- Success Stories: Invites to dive into the dynamic world of innovation, business, and industry, unveiling the creative genius of these French visionaries who have built success far from home. A genuine dive into the captivating universe of these daring minds, demonstrating the vitality of entrepreneurship and the ability to shine beyond national boundaries.
- Politics, Diplomacy & Humanitarianism: Portrays and highlights the ambition of committed French figures exercising their influence from local to international scales. These narratives immerse readers into diplomatic negotiations, crucial decisions, and significant contributions by these French talents on the global stage, both diplomatically and humanitarianly.
- Art & Culture: Encourages discovery of French cultural personalities and artists, sharing their vision, passion, and talent worldwide, thereby enriching both French and global cultural heritage.
With your support, my aim is to raise $50,000 to bring these remarkable stories to life in the form of journalistic reports, allowing all those thirsty for inspiration, discovery, and positive narratives to explore the dedication of other French individuals living across the globe.

I am Rachel Brunet, a journalist, content strategist, and French author based in New York since 2012. Having launched and developed Le Petit Journal New York and Miami, catering to an audience of expatriates, I dedicated four years to telling inspiring stories of French-speaking women and men settled in the United States, supporting them in their endeavors, involvement, and ventures by narrating their commitment. I aimed to inspire readers and spotlight women by creating editorial projects like Women's Month and the Women Leaders project.
However, an article to recount a journey, an ambition, excellence, or influence has its limitations, both in its reach, size, and lifespan.
A book is a noble object, a symbol of culture, knowledge, sharing, and inspiration. It's within books that the inspiring, positive, and influential stories of expatriates belong. The Talents collections aim to inspire other entrepreneurs, artists, politicians, diplomats, and humanists worldwide. These collections also aim to tell other French individuals, 'Look at what we achieve beyond our borders.'
To narrate to the entire world the stories, journeys, and successes of our talents, Talents publications will be released in both French and English, available for purchase on Amazon worldwide.
