The ECPubs smartphone APP (iOS and Android) provides daily prayers according to the Byzantine Christian tradition and other daily spiritual reflections at no cost. Daily emails provide the Readings, Hours and Daily/Great Vespers through a free subscription service. Funding is needed to pay the licensing fee for the app hosting service, and to compile the prayers and texts for the design, layout and distribution of these products. Over 7,000 persons have installed the APP (5000 still active) and we think 2000 (40%) might use it every day. The daily emails go to more than 500 persons each day with about 200 opening and using the files to pray. Therefore, we have a pretty good sized "virtual" parish! We need about $500/month to cover the cost of providing these products in the future. These ongoing services provide the opportunity for everyone to have access to the spiritual poetry of the Eastern Church, especially teens, millennials, and young adults who use smartphones for their daily lives. Users have commented how important these prayers have been in their spiritual life and constantly thank us for providing them. We have doubled the number of users in the last 4 years.
