Marion Cross School Read-a-Thon

We are the 6th grade students at Marion Cross School in Norwich, VT.  Our school is planning an awesome trip to The Ecology School in Saco, Maine for two nights. If we get to go to the Ecology School, we will learn about different ecosystems like forests, dunes, and salt marshes. We'll also learn how to really take care of our environment. We think that's important! And we're so excited because the Ecology School is called school but it's actually all outside!

To go on this trip, we need to raise money. We have lots of ideas but we really want to do a read-a-thon and our teachers are excited about it too! 

Our plan is to read over 100 combined hours on Wednesday, March 7. Instead of recess, we'll be reading! Instead of gym, we'll be reading! Instead of . . . math?? we'll be reading!

We would be so happy to get any amount of money, large or small, to help make it so we can go on this trip. Thank you so much for helping us get to the Ecology School! The picture above is from last year's trip and we are going to work really hard to get to go too! We will definitely take pictures there and share them!
