Hi! Our names are Maddie Merrick and Taj Sorensen and we are the Co-General Manager of WECX Radio, Eckerd College’s student-run station. We’re on a mission to bring our beloved studio into the modern era which hasn’t been updated since the 90s!

As you can imagine, professional radio equipment is expensive, and costs can add up quickly. We’re raising funds to purchase new broadcasting equipment and materials to upgrade and refresh the station, making it a space that inspires creativity and better serves our campus and community.
