Hi, my name is Vishwas. I'm reaching out not just as a husband, but as a man trying to save his wife’s life.
My wife, Grace, just received the most terrifying news:
A large, cancerous tumour was found in her colon.
She’s only 33. Just weeks ago, we were talking about starting a family.
Today, we’re talking about surgery to save her life.
The Nightmare:
Doctors say it's likely bowel cancer.
She needs urgent surgery to remove the tumour.
If caught now, she has a very high chance of survival.
But we are being told:
“We can’t operate unless you pay upfront.”
Why We Can’t Afford This:
We're migrants on a temporary 482 visa.
We’ve paid for private health insurance, but they just told us they might not cover — we have submitted all required documentsand they are still processing it, and we are not certain yet if they will cover it.
We have no Medicare as we are on 482 and we are not allowed for it. Superannuation refused to withdraw anything as only citizens are allowed to do so,
Our total savings? — barely enough for monthly survival
Grace is young, brave, and doesn’t deserve this.
She has no family here. Just me. We came to Australia to build a better future, to work hard, contribute, and start a new life not to fight for survival in a hospital queue.
We’re completely heartbroken, scared, and out of time.
The Surgery Will Cost around $30,000
Every single dollar will go towards:
Urgent colorectal surgery
Hospital fees
Follow-up treatment and recovery
Please, help me save my wife.
Even a small donation could help keep Grace alive.
If you can't donate, please share this story. We need the kindness of strangers more than ever.
From the bottom of my heart thank you.
