Every day an average of 22 veterans commit suicide in this country. These are men and women who have put their own lives at risk in order to defend this nation. A fellow warrior has invited me to participate in a special fundraising event to spotlight the need for care and treatment of our veterans dealing with mental health issues.
I am honored I was asked to march in this event alongside 22 veterans and family members for 22 miles on November 2nd, 2014. I am asking you to please donate and sponsor me in this endeavor. All proceeds will go directly to La Frontera/EMPACT Rally Point Military Navigator Program and will fund assistance programs for veterans.
I have personally witnessed this organization directly assist veterans in need, and can attest to their professionalism and integrity. This is not some distant organization where you're not 100 percent sure where your money is going. This will directly benefit our veterans. Please donate whatever you can for this critically important cause.
