Echo armor

Hey, I’m Chris Vest aka @801Spidey on Instagram. I'm starting a fundraiser to be able to build ARC Trooper Echo armor! I know it's been a rough year on everyone anything you can give helps! About four years ago I was constantly drinking I got hospitalized with pancreatitis three times before I finally sobered up. I've been sober now for two and a half years! Star Wars and the characters it portrays has always been a major inspiration with keeping me sober. At the beginning of this year, my wife was diagnosed with cancer, and with the insane stress 2020 has been, I had the worst bout of pancreatitis I ever had it landed me in the hospital for over a month. I missed my wife’s cancer surgery and recovery because of being stuck in the hospital. When I finally released, I was weak, and stuck in bed feeling hopeless and depressed. One shining moment came for me this September when my friends in the 501st came to my house with Commander Doom armor that I could wear for a photo shoot with them! Being in the armor made me feel strong and made me feel like I could do anything! It also made me want to be able to help others like the 501st helped me! I connect on a deep level with ARC trooper Echo, that his body was completely wrecked, but with his brothers, he’s rebuilding himself much like I am right now. That Rex handprint on Echo’s chest, my literal brother @cptn_rex is going to put on my armor when I finish it.
