Ecco di nuovo FloReMus!!!

L’ottava edizione di FloReMus (1-20 settembre 2024) continua il viaggio nella musica del Rinascimento anche nei suoi rapporti con la cultura del tempo.

Nell’edizione di quest’anno ci sono due importanti novità:

Due Visite musicali porteranno a scoprire i tesori inestimabili in due luoghi apparentemente chiusi: la Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, con la sua architettura michelangiolesca, che contiene codici di valore universale, e la Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale che contiene alcuni importantissimi manoscritti che ci hanno permesso di conoscere meglio la musica del tempo. In entrambi i luoghi si svolgeranno due brevi concerti dove verranno eseguite musiche ricavate dai manoscritti che verranno esposti in quella occasione.

Il suono di due organi monumentali presenti in città, arrivati a noi in forma attendibilmente originale, sarà il protagonisti degli appuntamenti Monumenti Sonori. Quest’anno potremo ascoltare l’organo della chiesa della Badia Fiorentina e di S. Niccolò Oltrarno.

Per più di due settimane, con almeno un appuntamento al giorno, avremo occasione di ascoltare musiche e parole del e sul Rinascimento, suoni e concetti che ancora possono “risuonare” in noi e generare nuove idee e nuove musiche.

Per poter realizzare al meglio questi nuovi progetti abbiamo bisogno del vostro contributo, anche minimo. Purtroppo i contributi pubblici non sono sufficienti a coprire tutti i costi delle nostre iniziative considerando anche il fatto che la maggior parte degli eventi sarà a ingresso gratuito. The eighth edition of FloReMus (Florence, 1-20 September 2024) continues the journey into Renaissance music also in its relationships with the culture of the time.

In this year's edition there are two important innovations:

Two musical visits will lead to the discovery of priceless treasures in two apparently closed places: the Medici Laurenziana Library, with its Michelangelo-esque architecture, which contains codes of universal value, and the Central National Library which contains some very important manuscripts which have allowed us to know better the music of the time. Two short concerts will take place in both venues where music taken from the manuscripts that will be exhibited on that occasion will be performed.

The sound of two monumental organs present in the city, which have come down to us in a reliably original form, will be the protagonists of the Sound Monuments events. This year we will be able to listen to the organ of the church of the Badia Fiorentina and of S. Niccolò Oltrarno.

For more than two weeks, with at least one appointment a day, we will have the opportunity to listen to music and words of and about the Renaissance, sounds and concepts that can still "resonate" in us and generate new ideas and new music.
