Are you ready to hear our STRUGGLE, our PLIGHT, our UNWANTED PREDICAMENT?

Can YOU answer these questions? 

Our Muslim community wants us to LIVE but provideS no space...WHY?

Where are the Muslim girls and boys supposed to go to have fun?  We can not go downtown and party but we are not given an alternative...WHY?

We spend thousands of dollars on things that we will leave behind but when it comes to building up and protecting the LEADERS OF TOMORROW there is NO MOVEMENT...WHY?  

The older Muslim generation wants us to stay protected from corruption but less than 1% is spent on the youth. 

In Halifax, Nova Scotia, ALONE, there are 22000-25000 Muslims, there is no way we can not achieve this project along with many others, not to mention with support from ALL OF CANADA. 

Ihsan Academy is the only Muslim school in all of Atlantic Canada that ranges from grade primary to grade 12 with graduates that go to well-known universities and SUCCEED. 

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE

It is so hard for our communities to work together but when nothing is done there is endless complaint.  
 
We NEED action and we need it NOW.

In today's society, to find a place where Muslim girls are able to follow their religion while also feeling secure and free to move it is close to impossible.  We are supposed to upkeep our physical and mental health but do not provide the tools we need to do so. Then, when the youth go astray there is constant judgment and no action. If compromising our faith is the only way to upkeep our health, that should NOT BE AN OPTION. We are UNABLE to go to co-op gyms or pay hundred's of dollars renting places. It is our right as Muslim girls to be given what we need to live comfortably in this society.  Ihsan Academy is trying to solve this issue by

BUILDING A GYM.

 This gym will be open to the public and the students who are attending the school. It is a necessity for this to be done because our current situation is UNSERVICEABLE. Teachers are making do with what is available but it is

FAR FROM ENOUGH. 

The amount that needs to be raised is $500k, this money will go straight towards building the gym. This money needs to be raised by the end of April and without it,

NOTHING CAN MOVE FORWARD.

If one person shares this with at LEAST five people they know, the money can be raised in a week, maybe even less.
