Sisters Climb Kili for Simple Hope
"I'm STARVING!"
How many times have you exclaimed this? We've all said this from time to time. Especially when our stomach's are growling because it is nearing meal time. Although you may be hungry, you most likely are not starving.
The Hadzabe tribe of Tanzania, East Africa, is facing exactly this situation. They are at risk for extreme malnutrion and no hope for the future generation. The Hadzabe are a hunting and gathering tribe whose daily food source has been depleted by development and climate change.
In February, 2015, I will join my sister, Pastor Amy Anderson, and some other wonderful people to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro,
the tallest free-standing mountain in the world, for a wonderful cause. We are raising money for Simple Hope Corp. , a non-profit organization whose goal is
"To build a bridge of love between our worlds by simply serving God's people with hope"...
- by strengthening compromised communitities through nutritious food
- by introducing methods of purifying water to impede water borne illness
- by educating vulnerable communitites with new sustainable living methods
- by bringing global awareness and compassion to people living in the US
- by bringing hope through Christ to all people
Your donation will help Simple Hope Corp. continue to uplift lives through faith, nutritious food, clean water and education of sustainable processes.
THANK YOU, IN ADVANCE, FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION!!
