My name is Elizabeth Fast. I am a single 53-year-old woman who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in June of 2023. At that time, I opted for no treatment. I just wanted to lead the rest of my life as simply and peacefully as possible. In June of 2023, I was given 9 months to a year to live. The photo on this gofundme page was taken today. I do still try to work. I am on disability, but it just doesn't seem to make ends meet in today's world. I continue to do the best I can on any given day to help others, but financial restrictions don't always make it possible.

I am not asking for money for some outlandish bucket list items. I truly have no real bucket list. Maybe a ton of missed concerts, ball games, and other events that I put to the wayside to care for others. Lord knows many people benefited from my lack of ability to attend events I paid for. I never recouped money for my lack of ability to attend, I just wanted to make sure someone else enjoyed the tickets I never could use. (Example: I've paid for tickets to Crosstown classic multiple times. Never got to use the tickets once. Can't even remember who did LOL)

I simply want to pay my bills and maybe spoil myself with a steak dinner on a night when I feel my body can process it. Most of the money will end up going towards gas and vehicle maintenance so I can continue to help people get to where they need to be so their lives don't end up in a mess because they lacked a very important ride to either a doctor, court, etc.

Any questions you have, I am an open book. If you want your donation directed towards anything specific, please let me know. If you want me to spend it on a tattoo, pick the tat. If you want me to go to a concert, suggest one. But I honestly would rather just have an experience or memory with you and bypass this funding. If that's not an option, my second choice is to pay a bill or pay it forward with maintaining the ability to give people those much-needed rides that our NCAT or court systems don't provide.
