Hi it's me Miss Becky. I have something I need to tell everyone and just get off my chest. There is no easy way this, so here it goes. I have been diagnosed with cancer. I was diagnosed on September 17th, 2025. I have oral squamous cell carcinoma. I got a referral and have an amazing team at BMC. I woke up around 11:30 pm on September 30th to extream pain and mouthfuls of blood and I went to the ER at Harrington in Southbridge and told their team about my cancer diagnosis. They were able to slow the bleeding down but not fully stop it. I had a very exciting/expensive ambulance ride from Southbridge to Boston Medical Center at 3 am. I was there for 12 days. I have been from the E.R. to intensive care and a few beds in between. I have had a vast array of blood work done daily, I started calling myself the human pin cushion. Im pretty sure I have had probably every test and scan known to man. I also had a GI tube surgery done so when I start my chemo, and immunotherapy treatments I will hopefully be able to keep my strength up. Just trying to get the last few pieces of the puzzle together. Chemo port will be placed this week. Then I'll start the next chapter of my book. It's called how Becky kicked cancer's ass! It's going to be a very long road ahead of me. I am a proud person who never asks for help. Unfortunately im going to need some help in this chapter of my life. Donate if you can share if you can't. Keep sending me love, prayers, good vibes and positively.
