It’s no surprise to most of you to hear about another immigration story. We continue to live in a broken system and many Dreamers are fighting for their life to stay in United States. I’m setting up a GoFund me for a friend and her family that is in need of help.
Julie was raised by her grandmother, who brought her back and forth from Mexico to Tucson throughout the years until she was ten years old. At the age of 10, her grandmother left her in Tucson to stay with her Aunt. At that point she began to attend elementary in Tucson. She went on to attend Nailor middle school and Rincon High School. She got her DACA permit as soon as it became available and has renewed it every two years like she is supposed to. She has made a life for herself here. She has three kids ages 13yrs, 8yrs, and 6yrs who were all born here in Tucson and attend school here.
The reason she has not applied for her residency until now is because for years she wasn’t eligible to apply, and when she became eligible it cost too much. Our system is a racket! The reason it is so urgent and why she HAS to apply NOW is because if she doesn’t apply before October 15th she may never be eligible to get her residency ever again because of the new Trump Administration Rule that is supposed to go into effect. Toget anywhere with immigration an attorney is needed and fees are astronomical. No one can do it on their own. If you can’t donate please share this link. There is no dollar amount to small.
