A mom in need

Hello, my name is Sandy I'm 77 and Ive found myself in desperate need of help. My son Aron has had a severe stroke at the age of 53. In April of this year just before his birthday an aneurysm was discovered. It was very large and caused severe complications. It affected his balance, he had problems swallowing, and even made food taste differently. He was given medications that are designed to make it smaller or at least stay the same size. These all failed and it continued to grow in size. As it grew and encroached on the brain and brain stem his complications got more severe. He was unable eat anything because swallowing became so difficult. When he manage to get the food down a lot of the time he would vomit it back up. It was horrible watching him go through this. Going from a strong vibrant man who worked with his hands to make a living become frail and struggle to even walk to the car. It was heartbreaking. Little did I know the worst was yet to come. In order to surgically cure the aneurysm blood flow must cut off using stints. In Arons case they would do this over 3 different surgeries. These surgeries are preformed 2 weeks apart. The first surgery went well with no complications. The second surgery also went well but in recovery disaster happened and he had a massive stroke. His left side was left paralyzed and he needed a ventilator to help him breath. To make matters worse he had to battle pneumonia. Things were looking bleak on more than one occasion. Worse yet he still needed another surgery. Stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place. If the the surgery was not preformed certain death. If the surgery was performed he may not survive it. Luckily the surgery was performed and was successful. Just as important he didn't have another stroke in recovery. As of today Aron is still on a ventilator and isn't able to move his left side. He has had good and bad days since his last surgery. Some days he is 100% coherent and follows conversation. Others he isn't there not even knowing Im in the room. This is caused from swelling in his brain. Today he did have his best day. He was with me 100% and the ventilator is on the lowest setting. He also has been moved from neuro ICU to whats called the step down unit. The next step god willing will be to get off the ventilator and get moved to physical therapy. All of this has put a tremendous financial strain me and will continue for the foreseeable future. I never thought I would be in a position where I would have to do this but here I am. ANY help will be a godsend.
