Ebony Williams, a vibrant soul with a passion for fashion and a beloved former radio personality in Dallas, is facing a formidable challenge: stage 4 metastatic melanoma (skin cancer). This aggressive cancer, initially a small tumor on her back, was tragically misdiagnosed by her primary care team. For over a year, Ebony endured a frustrating and agonizing delay in proper care, shuttled between specialists and hindered by insurance roadblocks.
Finally, against all odds, Ebony secured appointments with two oncologists. The first encounter proved disheartening, but a referral from another specialist led her to the right doctor, who swiftly hospitalized her for an emergency biopsy. By then, the excruciating tumor had begun to spread all throughout her back and lungs. Confronted with this devastating diagnosis, Ebony's world shattered.
Before this heartbreaking turn of events, Ebony was a whirlwind of creativity. She poured her heart and soul into her faith-based clothing line, Wearynobe.com, and thrived as an entrepreneur with Hatstacksonline.com, where she delighted in crafting custom headwear for her cherished clients. However, cancer abruptly halted her dreams, leaving her bedridden and struggling with basic mobility.
Ebony has undergone five grueling rounds of radiation and is currently enduring the rigors of immunotherapy treatment. This vibrant woman, once filled with life and infectious positivity, now faces an uphill battle. Her unwavering devotion to family, friends, and her beloved cat, Israel (Izzy), is a testament to her strength.
Unfortunately, Ebony has been without income for the majority of 2024. As she bravely fights for her life in 2025, Ebony needs our support more than ever.
