Kevin’s Recovery

In the afternoon of Wednesday October 11th my dad, Kevin Stepp, was involved in a terrible crash. His pickup truck rolled 5 times at 60mph, his airbags did not deploy and first responders had to cut the top of his truck off to rescue him. He was trauma alerted to Lakeland Regional.

Kevin shattered his pelvis, fractured a vertebrae, as well as his foot and had internal bleeding and had to receive a blood transfusion. After 5 days in the ICU and a major surgery to repair his pelvis he has begun his physical therapy journey. He must remain flat on his back and in a brace without sitting or standing for 3 months, he will have to relearn how to walk and will likely never work again.

My dad is the most selfless person I have ever met. If you needed a shirt he would give you the one off his back and ask for nothing in return. I am starting this fundraiser to raise funds to help with medical bills, and hopefully to ease the financial burden while he recovers.
