It is with great sadness that we have to share that Ebinehita Arhebamen passed away on May 15, 2021 at age 36. Ebi struggled from a skin condition but suddenly developed bone marrow complications which led to complex medical course and hospitalization. Ebi is survived by her two daughters Nadia (age 5) and Olivia (age 8) as well as husband Matt.
We have lost a great friend, empathetic colleague, and a thoughtful patient advocate! Ebi had touched the hearts of many with her love, kindness, intelligence, selfless hard work, humor, dedication and humility.
With this GoFundme page we hope to collectively present financial support to the family from Loyola Medical School friends, medical colleagues, UIC residency and fellowship friends. Ebi worked tirelessly to take care of her family and provide a good example to her daughters. Ebi wanted Nadia and Olivia to grow into strong, kind and intelligent women.
The amount donated from everyone will be transferred to the family to be used for Ebi's daughters’ college fund.
