help Jeff purchase a used car

Hey gang! So life is life-ing. Due to the year of underemployment I'm having to surrender my van back to the dealer. I was, however very fortunate to be gifted a used car! Unfortunately after a few days the clutch fluid began leaking from the slave cylinder and after some estimates it has been determined that it's not worth fixing.

I'm now in a position where I need some funds to help put a sizable down payment on another used car to help keep a car note down to a manageable price point.

Any help is appreciated on getting a vehicle that will be reliable for the kiddos and for me to get too and from work.
