On January 11th, Steve was taken to the emergency room after Alyia noticed that he was severely jaundiced. After tests and bloodwork were performed, the doctors determined that Steve's liver was severely damaged and, in turn, his kidneys were also affected. Steve recently recovered from throat cancer three years prior and underwent chemotherapy and radiation.

After spending 11 days in the ICU, the doctors have informed the family that Steve will require a liver transplant in the near future. During this difficult time of recovery and treatment, Steve will be unable to work and support his family. We would like to show our love and support by coming alongside this family and easing some of their financial burdens.
