Help Ebenezer Further His Education
In 2000, I went to Ghana, Africa and met a wonderful man, Father Anthony Ackon, with whom I formed a lasting friendship. I learned about his life and ministry and his wife and young children. I asked some friends to contribute support for their needs and that became "Noah's Ark." Through the years we have raised funds to support him, his family and community with school fees, medicine and other needs.
Now, 21 years later, three of the children, Ebenezer, Solomon and Jarrett, have either completed or are enrolled in college. Jarrett is enrolled now for a Bachelor of Science, Solomon has a B.S.. Ebenezer has a degree in psychology and wants to enroll in graduate school to become a college professor, and as the eldest, support his family. Father Anthony passed away three years ago.
See the photos below of the family and the children in the Sunday School class with Father Anthony's wife, Evelyn. Note Ebenezer (with the arrow) as a youngster in the photo. Please take a few minutes to watch the video from myself and Ebenezer and learn more about this fundraising effort.
With love and gratitude,
