Now in a time when we hear so much negative news regarding the crime rate in Fort Myers, it brings me joy to inform our community that the Dunbar Rattlers' 10 and Under football team, led by Coach Corris McIntosh and his staff, are the 2015 Southeast Regional Champions of American Youth Football.
In a few weeks, this team will travel to Orlando, FL, to compete for a National Championship from December 5, 2015, through December 11, 2015. In order to pursue this goal, this team needs your assistance to cover the costs of this endeavor. Please join the collective effort to bring a National Championship back to the City of Fort Myers. Below is a breakdown of the expenses:
Hotel Rooms:
7 rooms for 6 nights at $105/night…...................4,410.00
(Hotel rate includes breakfast)
Meal Plan:
Lunch – 7 meals at $8/meal for 27 players…$1,512.00
Dinner – 7 meals at $10/meal for 27 players...$1,890.00
Transportation:
Two (2) – 15 Passenger Vans……………….....$2,400.00
Entertainment
(AYF & AYC National Championship Party at Universal Studios):
27 Tickets at $42/ticket………………………$1,134.00
