For more than four years, girls in Afghanistan have been systematically denied their right to secondary and higher education. Millions of girls have been excluded from classrooms, universities, and opportunities that many of us take for granted.
Yet despite these restrictions, their determination to learn has never disappeared.
Education Bridge for Afghanistan (EBA) was established to ensure that girls and young women in Afghanistan are not left behind. We provide safe access to internationally recognised education through innovative online learning management system, BANFES,
allowing students to continue their studies from inside Afghanistan.
Today, EBA supports students across Afghanistan through accredited Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, English language instruction, mentorship, and academic support. Our programmes are delivered by a dedicated network of teachers, mentors, and volunteers who
believe that education remains one of the most powerful tools for empowerment and long-term change.
Since our launch, EBA has helped students continue their education despite the closure of schools and universities. Our students have progressed to higher education opportunities, secured scholarships, and developed the skills and confidence needed to build their futures.
But the need continues to grow.
Every week, we receive requests from girls who want to learn but lack access to educational opportunities. We are working to expand our programmes, develop new learning content, strengthen our learning management systems, train teachers, provide student support services, and increase the number of learners we can reach.
