Support Mom's Journey to Recovery

Thank you for visiting my mom's GoFundMe page. Those of you that know my mom know that she is a beacon of light for all who know her. She has spent her entire life taking care of other people including her children, grandchildren, friends and parents. Now my mom needs someone to take care of her.

On the early morning of 9/8/24 my dad woke up to find my mom having a seizure in bed next to him. She was rushed to Umass Memorial-University Campus where she has undergone three MRIs, two lumbar punctures and three CT Scans. Eventually the tests showed a mass in her head and she is scheduled to have a biopsy and (hopefully) total resection on 9/18/24.

My parents have been married for 43 years and throughout this entire ordeal my dad has not left my mom's side (except when the nurses forced him to).

We are hopeful that mom will be discharged home soon after her surgery but it is not clear what kind of assistance she will need. We appreciate anything you can do and are eternally grateful for all the well wishes and prayers.
