Harley’s Surgery Fundraiser

Like most families, our pets are our loved ones. Our girl Harley is our baby. She has recently had an incident that has resulted in damage to her ACL. We’ve taken her to our local vet who has informed us she will require surgery costing roughly $3500-$5000. Unfortunately, we aren’t in the financial position to be able to pay for this outright at the moment. My poor mother is devastated by this as she is currently struggling physically, mentally and financially from a workplace injury that has left her unable to work, loosing a large chunk of her income.

Harley is not only our family dog, she is our rock. She also helps with my mums confidence in being home alone when we are all away from home. As someone who personally has had a fear of big dogs since I was 12, I can confidently say our girl is the sweetest, kindest Rottweiler ever. She even gets cuddles and pats from the local primary school kids when she has been walked past the primary school.

This go fund me is a last resort for us ( the rest of my family isn’t aware I am setting this up). My amazing, hard working and kind mother is incredibly determined and independent and would never ask for help herself.

I know we are all struggling with the cost of living crisis and understand not everyone is in a position to help, we’d appreciate any help whatsoever to help us get to our goal to give Harley the surgery she needs to be our healthy and happy girl again.
