Hi, my name is Isaiah McLean. I am 8 years old and just learned that I’ve been nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYFL): Pathways to STEM program this summer! My awesome teacher Ms. Hines nominated me to represent my school for this opportunity. She’s says I am a great leader and this program will help hone my skills. I’ll also get a chance to attend this program at a college this summer! They offer programs that will help me learn more about how leaders bring people together through communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. I’ll also get a chance to explore different career paths in Medicine, CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) and my absolute favorite—Engineering! We’ll get a chance to build our own robot, investigate crime scenes, and practice medical techniques!

As part of preparing to attend this program, they have given us a chance to raise money to help our parents with the tuition cost. I chose to reach out to my loved ones for help. I figured that I should start practicing being a leader and asked my parents to help me set this gofund page up so I can personally ask you all for some help. Any amount will be appreciated, and I can’t wait to show you all what I’ve learned! Thank you
